The Role
Join our rapidly growing CleanTech start-up, AIRMO, and play a key role in addressing one of humanity's most pressing challenges: monitoring and reducing greenhouse gas emissions. At AIRMO, you will work closely with the CEO and CCO to develop and expand our customer relationships. We have already established initial connections and are now aiming to grow further with your help. The ideal candidate is open, outgoing, and has some experience in a business development role.
Your responsibilities in AIRMO
In this role, you will play a key part in driving AIRMO’s strong client relationships. As the bridge between our solutions and the industries that need them most, your work will directly impact our mission to combat greenhouse gas emissions. You will collaborate closely with the leadership team to identify opportunities, engage with stakeholders, and ensure that our offerings align with market demands. Your contributions will help shape AIRMO’s success and expand its footprint of AIRMO monitoring. Your tasks will include but are not limited to:
- Conduct market research to identify promising industries and leads.
- Identify and engage with key companies within these industries, supporting the full sales cycle from initial contact to potential agreements.
- Develop and refine our business model and revenue streams.
- Represent AIRMO at various events and present our mission and solutions.
- Assist in writing grants and funding applications.
- Support the CEO and CCO with various venture-building tasks.
- Contribute to day-to-day activities and initiatives within our dynamic team.
What you should bring to AIRMO
The ideal candidate will have:
- Proven experience or a strong interest in business development, sales, or client engagement, with a focus on building lasting relationships.
- A solid background and proven experience in the energy sector, with a particular focus on oil and gas. An understanding of industry dynamics, challenges, and client pain points is essential.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and foster strong connections with clients and stakeholders.
- A genuine passion for CleanTech and a deep appreciation for the role of technology in addressing climate change.
- A solid understanding of data products and their applications in solving industry-specific problems.
- Strong analytical and research abilities to identify market trends, assess client needs, and propose tailored solutions.
- A self-motivated and proactive approach, thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment.
- Enthusiasm to learn about the NewSpace or Climate tech
Nice to have
- Strong understanding of data products and their applications, particularly in emissions monitoring or related fields.
- Knowledge of regulations and compliance frameworks within the energy and environmental sectors.
